Webinar Abstract
Discrete-event simulation (DES) is a computational tool that is used to build “virtual” computer models of dynamic and stochastic operations for the sake of analysis and design. DES is a popular tool for professionals in different fields, like manufacturing, economics, security and construction. The goal of this seminar is to introduce the main phases and best practices of developing reliable simulation models. The seminar will include a brief demonstration of the use of basic simulation tool, named EZSTROBE. This introductory seminar should be useful for professionals or students in engineering, manufacturing, and business domains.
